In the same year, Lao Jia was appointed as a specially invited artistic advisor to China
Art Academy Art Creation Center.
2014 Lao Jia’s work Fast Wind was selected for the "12th National Art Exhibition."
2015 “LAO JIA FREEHAND PAINTING” exhibition held at the National Art Museum of China.
The Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House published Lao Jia’s Freehand Painting, an
eight-volume edition with selected texts.
2016 “One within Heaven and Earth—Laojia freehand painting” exhibition held in Art Museum
Beijing fine art academy, Lao Jia donated 12 pieces of artwork to Beijing Fine Art
Academy where he worked for more than 20 years.
2017 Solo exhibition “LAOJIA’S FREEHAND PAINTING” in Ukraine National Academy of Fine
Arts to celebrate The 25 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between
China and Ukraine, The 100 anniversary of the founding of the Ukraine National Academy of
Fine Arts & The 20 anniversary of the founding of Laojia Art Museum.
