Assigned by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, Xu Qiping lectured in the Fine Art Department of the University of Dar es salaam and gave lessons on traditional Chinese paintings at Tanzania’s Chinese Culture Centre. With her sincere concerns about African people, years of study in African arts and previous lecturing experiences in African universities, Xu developed a teaching method tailored for foreign learners of traditional Chinese paintings.
2015, 1st of December
An exhibition themed on the teaching outcome of Xu’s traditional Chinese painting course was held in Tanzania’s Chinese Culture Centre, which received high appreciation from both countries. The Prime Minister of Tanzania sang high praise for Xu’s contribution to strengthening cross-cultural communication within such a short time.

Xu Qiping got an invitation from a Pakistani news broadcast site for an art visit.
"Hand in Hand 2014: China Pakistan Art Exhibition" was jointly participated in by many Pakistani artists, the National Art Gallery, and Islamabad, Pakistan.

Invited by the Ministry of Culture of Algeria, Xu paid a visit to Algeria for cultural exchange and to give lectures for the students in the National Academy of Fine Arts of Algeria. Besides, she was invited to visit the Algerian state television station to record a show, called "Algiers---good morning".
